life is a BED of roses

I arrived home super duper late last night because I watched Sharon's concert on TV with Jackee. Haha... not really a true blue fan of Shawie (naks! close kami!?! *wink*) but we enjoyed the said TV special. I think it was already 1AM when I got home. But I didn't sleep yet... because yesterday, I purchased my new bed frame and it was delivered in the evening so there it was... standing in front of me. I couldn't resist it. And like an excited kid (meaning super low EQ), I decided to cut the strings, remove all the protective cartons and assembled it :) My buto-buto was able to lift the bed parts all by myself. I was successful in figuring out how to put the parts together but some parts like the base of the legs need some hammering because it wont fit so imagine me hammering in a very slow motion, trying my best not create any noise that can wake my neighbors. I got frustrated at first but I didn't give up... I worked on it, not minding the sweats and bruises and all... until finally... mukha na s'yang kama :) Yey!!! I did it! Clap-clap-clap everyone.

So though I'm puyat and I wanted to hit the snooze button of my celphone alarm for the nth time... I forced myself to get out of bed very early so I can work on the mattress and the beddings. I am so excited to see the final product and how it fits my room. You see, I have to give up my Queen size bed for a Single (36in x 75in) size bed in order to have more space in my room. So here it is... I'll be sleeping tight from now on. The search for the perfect bed is now over :)

Since my bed is now small, I have to give up my other pillows as well. The pink one is a gift from Lala. Hey Balaxlu, thanks again for this giant pillow! See, it's occupying 1/4 of my bed space :) The small stuffed POOH bear is from Aiza, tenchu! :) The rest are part of crazy my collection.

*This bed is undeniably mine... if you know what I mean, hahaha!!! *wink*

Ali's Parteaaahhhh!!!

Here's the kwento and photos of Ali's post birthday celebration.

Last Friday, Aiz picked me up at Trinoma then we met up with Sherdy Boy (Toni's BF) and YB. Tapos we met up with Ali, Toni and Pam at a Jollibee in EDSA, it's the one near Quezon Avenue, I think. We had a quick dinner then byahe na to Tagaytay. Earlier that afternoon, I learned from Ali that the VM boys backed out, pati na rin si Karen. Sayang talaga, ready pa naman ako mag-lasing with K :)

Anyway, we reached Tagaytay at around 10:30PM yata yun. So Magic-sing-ing agad and San Mig Light sila while Pam and I ate the Teramisu cake from Conti's... yum yum!!! :) Lagi ako nagcra-crave for cakes, ice cream and doughnuts lately, hindi ko alam kung bakit. So ayun, happy naman ako with the cake. And syempre happy to spend time with the girls. I wasn't able to join their last Tagaytay trip. Kasabay kasi ng wedding ni Gerald.

We spent the night singing, tsismisan, grilling Aiz, getting to know YB, getting wasted, and eating "chichiria" *me mimicking Ali's tone* You'll smile too when you hear Ali say it :)

Beer and music filled the night. The next thing I knew... I was already knocked-out at the sofa, hahaha! Looking at the pics, I can now relate to the multivitamins commercial. Yaikks!!! Pero 3AM naman na yun so pwede na matulog di'ba!?! :)

mirror, mirror on the wall

My tired feet are crying out loud. Just got back from my Tagaytay weekend with the ForMe girls and their boylettes. It's a post celebration of Ali's birthday and a taste of her "greener pastures". More kwento and pics tomorrow. I just logged in to say that I bought a new mirror :) Ali's driver dropped us off at Gateway. I was tired but I can't resist the sign of Shopwise so I went in and bought some things. I ended up buying a full length mirror, electronic kettle, and hand towels. Oh, I bought some packing tapes too. Hell yeah, packing tapes!!! In case I have to move to Jordan Heights on Monday... I'm ready. Hay... I'm gonna miss all my suki in Diego Silang, but on the brighter side, I won't be dealing with my f*cking LL's anymore. I'm sure it's gonna be a happier road ahead of me. Remind me that I have to look for a big truck. Hay... ang hirap kaya maglipat :( Goodluck na lang sa'kin!

Hmmn... basta... I have a new mirror and I'm happy :) Come chant with me :)
