Lines above are from the SMS Jackee sent me. It's touching and I want to share it with all of you. Yes, I am now officially 30 years and 2 days old . Yaikksss!!! Hahaha! =) I spent my birthday with Rellie. We recently got back from our Palawan Trip. Surely I'll be posting photos and stories of our trip but you have to be patient with me. It's a work in progress, hehe =) Lastly, thanks Melissa for picking us up at the Airport and for this wonderful photo *hugs*

Kuks and I booked a flight going to Palawan for a short vacation. It was always one my dreams to visit Palawan. Hearing about it's finest beaches made me more excited. I remember, years back, I was planning a trip with my brother because he has a classmate who lives there (hehe... user!). But we never get to plan it seriously as we both know we can't afford the plane tickets. So now that I was able to realize that dream... it is more special because I get to explore the Philippine's Last Frontier (or at least parts of it) with my Kuks na Kuks.

Before I post our trip's photos and side stories, I am leaving you with some facts (some lifted from Wikipedia) about Palawan which may encourage you to visit it soon, too!

~*~ Palawan is an island province located in the MIMAROPA region. It's capital is Puerto Princesa City, and it is the largest province in the country in terms of total area of jurisdiction.

~*~ It is approximately 586 kilometers southwest of Manila, between Mindoro Island on the north, Borneo on the south, China Sea on the west, and Sulu Sea on the east.

~*~ It is composed of the long and narrow Palawan Island, plus a number of other smaller islands surrounding the main island. The Calamianes Group of Islands, to the northwest consists of Busuanga Island, Culion Island, and Coron Island.

~*~ The disputed Spratly Islands, located a few hundred kilometers to the west is considered part of Palawan by the Philippines, and is locally called the Kalayan Group of Islands.

~*~ The island province of Palawan has been declared as a nature sanctuary of the world, and for good reason. It is wrapped in a mantel of rainforests, outstanding dive sites, majestic mountains, primeval caves, and pristine beaches. It is surrounded by a coral shelf that abounds with varied and colorful marine life.

~*~ There are 52 dialects in the province, with Tagalog being spoken by 28 percent of the people. Other major dialects are Cuyunin (26.27 percent), Pinalwan (11.08 percent), and Ilongo (9.6 percent).

~*~ Palawan is famous for Calauit Game Preserve & Wildlife Sanctuary, Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center, Tubbattaha Reefs, Coron Bay, Coron Reefs, Busuanga, El Nido Marine Reserve, Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park, Honda Bay, Puerto de Sta. Isabel, Cuyo Fort, and the Tabon Caves to name a few.

~*~ The fastest way to reach Palawan is by plane.

Close Encounter With a Troubled Teenager

Forgive me for being so tamad to post lately. I wanted to share everything that is happening but I think I am running out of creative juices and I can't write. Something not so good happened yesterday and I will just copy paste the email I sent to my friends so you can also read about it. Hell yeah... I'M SO TAMAD!!!

So here it goes, read on...

I wish masaya ang ibabalita ko pero hindi...

Last Saturday, I attended a parteaaaahhhh and I left my cousin sa Shop, si Innah, pretty face teenybopper na nde cguro masyado nag-enjoy magbantay kc maintenance ang Friendster that time. Anyway, around 7 PM pinalitan naman sya ng Bro nya, si Pao (ung naholdap sa dating shop). So ayun, nakauwi ako around 7:30 PM... mukang normal naman ang lahat. Nag-stay si pao until 9:30PM, nag-close ako ng 10:00PM

Sunday morning, while pinapasok ko ung susi sa padlock ng gate ng shop, sabi ng nde ko masyadong feel na pakialameron kapitbahay ko, "Ikaw ba nag nagbantay kagabi?" Hmmm.. hindi po, bakit? " May nawawala ka bang keyboard? Uhmmm... wala po, bakit? "Ah... wala naman"

So nde ko na lng masyado pinansin kc mainit sa labas at mainit ang ulo ko kc galing ako sa kabilang shop at may nasira na naman na computer.

Nagbukas ako ng shop... pumasok ang mga customers. Pagdating ng 6th customer, in-usher ko sa comp#3... binuksan ko yung CPU... at na-shock na lng ako... wala ngang keyboard

So inilipat ko na lng ng comp ung customer and binalikan ko ulet ung UZI kong kapitbahay (as in katabi sya ng shop). Sabi ko, "Kuya wala nga po ung keyboard kong isa" at sinabi na sa kin ang ngyari. Nakita nya daw ung isang lalaki na paglabas ng shop eh may nilabas na keyboard from under his shirt at around 6:30PM to 7PM. Mabuti na lng nandun sya sa madilim nyang bakuran at nde sya napansin.

Wow astig di ba!?! Siguro itinupi nya ung keyboard

Ready na ako bisitahin ang mga friends ko sa Barangay... pero ung breaker naman ng kuryente sa shop eh nagka-problema... as in nag-amoy sunog at natakot na lng ako maging ULING. So naghanap pa ako ng electrician. Naayos naman after mga 4 hours yata at napagastos na naman ako ng bonggang-bonga.

So nung back to normal na ang operation, nagpakumbaba naman ako sa aking neighbor para samahan nya ako sa Barangay para magblotter. Nag-inarte pa sya ng konti pero wala akong karapatang magtaas ng kilay kasi need ko sya. Eventually he agreed so together forever kami.

Nag-antay kami ng 48 yrs sa barangay bago nakapag-bigay ng statement. Ni-dispatch ang mobile para mainvite ang suspect. Sumama ang witness ko sa mobile, uuwi na daw sya. So home alone ako sa barangay. Dumating ang mobile, kasama ng suspect at nanay nya since minor, 16yrs old ang kriminal pero muka naman syang mamaw na 20+ or more kung ico-compare sa akin na fresh na fresh

Start na ang interrogation... bukod sa pag-amin na sya ang kumuha at meron syang Nanay na nag-eemote on the side... nagda-dialogue naman ako na pang award winning actress. Tycoon ang role ko nga pala dito

Silence of the lambs ang drama nya. No-talk. At syempre gigil na ang lahat ng tao kaya sinabi na kung nde sya magsasalita eh sa presinto na lng kami. Sabi ko GO... GO... GO...

Ang kuks na kuks kong boyfriend eh nagttxt kung gus2 ko na puntahan nya ako to the rescue. Sabi ko wag na lang, magpahinga na sya... carry ko na un mag-isa kc galing pa sya ng Cabiao. Ang bait ko di'ba. Sabi ko na lang kiss nya na lang ako pag nagkita kami... hehe... joke lang

Tumayo ako sa silya para pumunta sa pinto kaso bigla syang sinapok ng nanay nya!!! Oh my gosh! Violence!!! Nagkaron ng commotion at pag-awat.

Nahimatay ang Nanay. No-talk pa rin ang bata. Ni-contact ang Tatay. Pagdating ni Itay... no-talk pa rin. So come on let's go... presinto kami dumiretso.


Dahil payapa nag lugar namin... nakapila kami sa dami ng kaso na inaasikaso sa presinto. Waiting for our turn... dumbidum. Tuloy ang drama ni Inay at Itay. Lahat na yata ng Barangay eh umaareglo sa akin. Ayun pala... bago pa sumaklolo si Itay eh dumiretso na kay Kapitan. Dedma ang award winning actress.

Nung turn na namin sa desk officer... inexplain sa akin na minor.. nde pwede ikulong kahit mukang mamaw. Pero pwde daw iturn over sa DSWD for Diversion Program achuchuchu...

Madaming negotiations.. ayoko pumayag... ginawa ang turn over papers. Super iyak na si Inay. At sa awa ng Diyos... nagsalita na at nag-sorry ang mamaw.

May mga corrupt at abnormal na opisyales tlg kahit saan... sasagutin ko daw ang gas sa paghatid sa DSWD. What the fuck!?! Pati na kung ire-request ko ng drug test. Hay naku... mas nakakainit ng ulo.

11PM na.... kailangan ko din daw sumama sa paghatis sa DSWD... abala na masyado... antok na ang beauty ko. Nakipag-usapa na ako sa magulang. Madami silang promises kasama na pati mga Barangay officials. Pressured pala sila ni Cap na ma-areglo ako.

So ayun... I chose to forgive after ko mag-litanya ng napaka-haba pagbalik sa Barangay.

Bow! Ayun lang. Send to all na lang kc mahirap mag-ulit ng kwento

In short... stressed ako



Believe me this is something traumatic and I don't want to experience it again. I really hate our corrupt officials, stupid law enforcers and people who does ill things to others.. booo to them!!! :'(

Dave's "Cars" Themed Birthday Party

We unleashed the kids in us and joined Jette and Arnold celebrate their son's 7th Birthday. It was held at a Penthouse in Millionaire's Village. Jackee, Chris and Ate Ping were already there when I arrived. Pero hindi naman ako masyadong late, hindi pa naman nag-start yung program. But most of the guests were already there.
