Aaaaaaaaarggghhhhh!!! I'm feeling grouchy today :( So not in the mood and I'm hating it. This is because of so many reasons, but let's not go into details. I just feel like writing... errr... ranting. To pass time, and take my mind off what's bugging me, I played with Photoshop and created this something. Hehe, Im not sure what it's called. Someone... help, pls!?! I think this is a Signature Chuva. Correct me if I'm wrong, will yah!?!

Yesterday, after finding a cheap-ass bed frame in Makro (which I didn't buy yet, filed under Kuks' Approval), and getting a "just like heaven amats" from seeing all the closets in different sizes (I wish i also have the budget for that), I went to Trinoma to meet up with Kuks. I checked out the screening time of WANTED, 7:15PM and 9:45PM. It's already past 6PM so I decided to wait in McDonald's so I can sit and eat something. I ordered fries and Mcflurry though it's already cold because of the bad weather outside. Takaw tingin mode na naman. The clock continued to tick... wala pang anino ni Kuks... pwede na sabitan ng sandok ang nguso ni Chenelyn =( His Highness arrived past the 7:15PM screening kaya nasa 8th floor na ang kilay ko... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!! What's new with the MRT hoollaballloooo!?! Hellur!?! To get me out of my not so good mood... I let him buy me dinner. In short, I allowed my Sizzling Porkchop and his Kuks na Kuks na kwento to take away the evil spirits, hehehe! =) I'm so easy to please, di'ba!?! *wink* And as a punishment for being late, he carried my giant umbrella, as in yung Lola umbrella. I can't find my 3-folds umbrella kasi when I left the house so I have no choice but to bring an umbrella as big as me because it was raining. Minus Pogi Points sa kanyang "Polo Barong Executive" look. Sabi nya, "Bumili ka na ng bagong payong ha, wag mo na dadalhin 'to ulet!" Hehehe, QUITS!!! =)

We watched the regular screening of "WANTED" at Cinema 6. From the opening scene, you'd think you are watching something like the "Matrix". And then they introduce to you the main character, Wesley Gibson (James Mc Avoy), who's your average Joe. A man trying to measure up with the expectations of his annoying Boss, overdosing himself with anxiety pills, and keeping mum about the cheating girlfriend and bestfriend. Then he meets Fox (Oh so sexy Angelina Jolie) who later brings him to the secret world of assasins. Angelina really look hot in this film even if she was covered with tattoo, she really looks just as good as she has in her previous shoot 'em up thrillers. Anyway, the band of assasins is headed by Sloane (Morgan Freeman). I also like this man, galing mag-deliver ng dialogues. So they begin to train Wesley and make him understand his past and fate. As bullets curve, heads get punctured, hilarity ensues, and rats explode.... WANTED is action packed but we did enjoy. Lots of visual effects where some may find a bit absurd (what about the Law of Physics!?!) but I still find it very entertaining and worth watching on the big screen. *bigsmile* If you like beautifully crafted action scenes, then you are in for a rock and roll time.

Back to my DL issues... I am still in search for a Carpenter. Booo...

bullet day... i will giant you

As soon as I received the SMS informing me that my "plate" is now ready for pick-up, I rushed home for a quick shower and to change clothes. My heart is beating fast... I am both excited and scared. I was expecting it to be released tomorrow, like what I was told. I remember telling Jackee, "Sana Wednesday na. Gusto ko na makita para makatulog na ako ng mahimbing."

I knocked at the window, the Releasing Officer put back her mobile phone in her drawer and smiled.

"I'm here to pick up my permit", I politely said.

"Pangalan po?", she replied.

"Palinar. P-A-L-I-N-A-R".

She stood up, went inside a room and returned with my "plate" in hand. After asking me to sign some papers, she handed it over to me.

I think I uttered my sincerest "THANK YOU" today. And I let out a big sigh of relief.

DIZIZIT!!! =)


It's only Tuesday, and I can't help but wonder why it was released early. But at least, the agony is now over *wink* Super gusto ko mag-cartwheel sa sobrang tuwa. But I have to rush again. I'm meeting Kuks tonight. We're supposed to canvass prices for a "bed frame" today in Makro... pero cge na nga, ako na lang pupunta kasi maaga pa naman. And then meet ko na lang siya for a movie and dinner. Babooooo!!! =)

ang PINAKA...

Jackee invited me to come over at her place for a Videoke with La Greta. Feeling like I needed to relax a bit... I agreed =) Aside from exercising my singing prowess (naks!!!), I am also excited to catch up stories with Jette. I was there 2 hrs early so Jackee and I started singing our hearts out. Deadma sa mga borpetbahay ;-P Feel na feel ko ang pagkanta ng "Alone", harharhar =) But after a few songs... we stopped and realized that Jette is already 2 hrs late. La Greta is not replying to our SMS, and she's not picking up my calls ='( Then Criszy came, expecting to see a party. Pero 2 babaeng nagpi-pig out lang sa chips at lumalaklak ng iced tea habang nanonood ng The Buzz ang nakita nya. He joined our big fat asses and nagpaka-useless blob like us. Binge fest while watching tsismis and our iced tea glasses are filled to the brim. Bottom less kung bottom less... laklak kung laklak, baby!!! =) Then another friend came, si Ruby... but still no La Greta, only an SMS from her, finally...

It's really sad that Jette wasn't able to join us. I replied her with this:

"eh pano naman ang time with climber friends? =)
d2 din si cris and ruby. nagpabili kami ng chicken & gin, haha!
sana makadaan ka kahit saglit. i need a hug!"

Funny that what started as a chips and iced tea afternoon turned into chicken, rice and gin (mixed with iced tea) combo. Lumamon kami at lumaklak ng 1 gin (jologs mode... GSM Blue talaga!!!), hahaha! =) Pakulo ni Cris yun! But we enjoyed din naman.

We also watched "Ang Pinaka..." on TV. The topic is the Top 10 List of Ang Pinaka: Panalong Places to Live. Everyone was rooting for their respective hometowns to make it to Top 10. With Cris making the loudest cheer for his beloved Zamboanga, and a unanimous vote on what will be the list's #1 City.

Kuks: "Oo nga eh, gusto ko din yung meron harapan... pwedeng mag-relax... pwedeng maglagay ng manok."
Chenelyn: "Hehe... sabi ko na nga ba eh... importante ang manok."
Kuks: "Pero okay din naman dito sa Nova eh... kung wala lang traffic, pwede na dito. Parang probinsiya din eh"
Chenelyn: "Hahaha, seryoso ka ba jan!?! Ayoko nga dito... ang layo-layo, ang hirap mag-byahe."
Kuks: "Pwede na 'to, pag naayos yung mga kalsada mababawasan na yung traffic nyan. Eh ano gusto mo, kesa naman sa Cabiao tayo mag-uwian. Kahit meron tayong sasakyan, gigising tayo ng 4am, tapos dadating tayo ng mga 10pm. Hahaha! Ayos di'ba!?!"

Hahaha! =) Wala lang... gusto ko lang i-share ang aming ungasan *wink* Kuks has a point... but if I have a choice, I don't want to live here in Nova for life. Siguro maski sa Top 20 ng Ang Pinaka nde sya makakapasok, hahaha! =)

what's inside the leather box!?!

After gate crashing Alison's Despedida last Thursday (see story here), I went to see Kuks at Rob Mall. Finally... finally... finally... he bought the My/Phone Slyder Series S22 Duo Phone that he's making me kulit with *sobrang arte ng construction ng sentence kong ito, nde ko kinaya!!!* It's a toss between T22 and S22, and sabi ni Kuks, mas pang-chicks daw ung S22 so that's what he purchased *notice the stress on the words pang-CHICKS and HE* Feeling tisay and so so so loved... we went home with my new mobile phone. Deadma if we were standing during our MRT ride... we were having a kabag fest. Kuks was throwing non-stop jologs jokes. Deadma if we had to endure the long queue in the FX terminal... we ate ketchup-mayo hotdog sandwich while waiting. Before going to my "new haven", we ate dinner at sosyal na sosyal na Janet's (Pares House in Nova-Bayan). He allowed me to have Coke pa (he's been asking me to mellow down on my sugar in-take kasi)... saan ka pa!?! Sobra na 'to!!! =) Non-stop laughing trip pa din during dinner. A certified HAPPY day for both of us. After eating, we headed off to Fidel so he can do the "inspection" and "approval" of my accomplished tasks for the week. So far... ok naman ang rating ko =) Thumbs up from the General, wohooo!!! Things are slowly falling into places... malapit na malapit na talaga...

He brought me home and asked me not to wait up for him anymore, pero syempre... I can't do that. I mean, I can't sleep just yet. I have to lay my hands on my new phone! =) Eto na... eto na... eto na.... waaaaaaaahh ahhhhhh... doo bi doo bi doo... bi doo bi doo...

Parang ang dami nyang pera noh!?! Hehe, not really *wink* We decided to buy the MyPhone S22 because of my need to maintain 2 active sims. Siya din kasi Dual Sim din yung phone nya na nabili nya from his Singapore trip. We would have gotten the T22 which has a stylus for the touch screen but we settled with S22. So far I'm liking the idea of not having to bring 2 cellphones all the time. It's user-friendly also, easy to upload and download to a PC just like a flash disc. The package includes 2 batteries and 2 ways to recharge via outlet and PC USB. It also comes with a headset and 1G memory card. I am now really bidding goodbye to my N6680 and it's bluetooth and 3G because S22 doesn't have it. It doesn't matter though, I don't really need it. =) Another downside is you can't use MP3's or WAV tones for the message alert tone, I'm so used pa naman to hearing my "Umbrella" tone (yung Motorola L6 which we sold recently I used "With You" by Chris Brown naman). My only problem is it's shiny finish... palagi tuloy parang oilyness just like the fez of the owner, harharhar! =) And yung Calendar pala, I don't know if nde ko pa lang na-explore masyado or nde talaga pwede mag-store ng birthday alarm. Hala, I like greeting my friends pa naman on their special days ='( Teka... parang dumadami na yung reklamo ko =) Believe me, I'm happy with my new phone. *cartwheel* Having 2 active sims in 1 phone is already a steal. Plus the fact na it's from Kuks made it more special * i heart you* Ano ba!?! Naaapakan mo naman ang mahaba kong hair!!! *wink*

meet my POK friend we all love

I went to GABC office yesterday to gatecrash a party, hahaha! =) It's Alison's last day in GABC, and I'm gracing her despedida *wink* I wasn't able to join her Tagaytay party last Saturday since I attended Gerald's wedding. To make up, I went to GABC na lang to join their meryenda. Ali is my POK friend so I wanna see her before she leaves for the States on July12. Yes, I'm hearing you... too many despedida's lately noh!?! All my friends are leaving our beloved P.I. *sniff* Oh, it's also Chim's (my Ex-Brand Manager) birthday, but she left na before I arrived so I wasn't able to see her. Buti na lang I greeted her na with an SMS when I woke up. She invited me pa to join the girls for lunch (at GABC). But OA naman kung lunch to meryenda eh andun ako di'ba!?! Anyway, going back to Ali's parteaaaaaaaaahhh *insert KIKAY laugh here*, I'm grabbing her post (excerpt) and some pics from her Multiply account so you can take a peek. After securing a Visitor's Pass from the Guards, I went straight to the G-Cafe (A.K.A. Canteen nung panahon namin) where they are having merienda. Grand entrance ang beauty ko... with Ali's back to the door, the other girls screamed in unison, "J1!!!!!!!". So I waved at them ala-Ms. Universe, I hugged a surprised Alison =) "Pokkkkkkkk, what are you doing here!?! Thank you for coming!" Little did I know na photo with Victor Basa pala yung na-interrupt ko, harhar! =)

After beso with the girls, I grabbed a chair and pizza at naki-party at picture na.

I went to Trinoma yesterday to have dinner with my GirlFriends again. On my way to meet Mels, I bumped into Ate Cherski and Mike Hidalgo (GABC friends). So konting chikahan muna kaming tatlo. After a few updates and bolahan, I really had to rush to meet Mels. Run, Forest run!!! Kakahiya naman almost 1 hour na siya nag-iikot, she left the office at 6:01PM kasi kaya early bird siya for our dinnner. In fairness, 7PM naman ang usapan namin to meet. Pero late pa rin ako, hahaha! =) I went to SMNE pa kasi to buy the keyboard. Excuses... excuses *wink*

We decided to eat at Conti's. We waited for Lala and Joy there. Mel's ordered soup while we try to contact Lala. Ang bruha naka-off ang cellphone! This dinner is supposedly her final... final despedida. Promise, last na, hehe! Kasi we won't be able to join her trip to the airport on Sunday ='( Hmmn... pano nya kaya kami mahahanap? Anyway, inaliw namin ni Mels ang mga sarili namin while waiting. We catched up on stories of our lives as if ang tagal namin nde nagkausap, lagi naman online sa YM ;-P Well... iba pa rin ang live telecast, hehe! Finally, Lala sent Mels an SMS confirming she's on her way at malapit na sya. Good! We thought i-indianin na kami ng bruha, hahaha! =) So we ordered food na para lafang to death na pagdating ni Lala. She arrived na mukha ngang nag-marathon just to get there *wink* Nag-practice pala sya ng driving skills... from Cabiao to Manila, why not!?! As soon as the food was served, we wasted no time. But I took some pics first so I can show you our yummy dinner.

I received a call from Joy that she can no longer join our dinner. Her husband just got home from Bangkok (naks!) daw. We're a little sad na wala si Chona Chickadora. Ganyan talaga... kaya minsan masarap pa rin ang maging SINGLE. FREE. Just the same, we still enjoyed the night. As in never ending stories ito!!! Lala was so eager to know updates on GABC life. Ang bata... medyo attached pa rin, hehe! =) From Brand Team Meetings to quota updates... nakikibalita pa rin. Obviously, she misses GABC. I was like that after I resigned, hehe. And until now, nakikibalita pa rin ako... ng tsismis, hahaha!!! =) We talked about a lot of things and a lot of people, make that 2 prominent persons only *wink* Our conversation always go back to those two people, hahaha! Favorite topic for the night *wink* Hulaan nyo kung sino!?! Harharhar... send your wild guesses ha :p

We were laughing 50% of the time... and the other half was spent eating and sharing kwento. Super FUN night!!! We wanted to stay longer sana kaya lang it's beyond resto hours na. The staffs were already able to clean the rest of the tables, except for 3 tables na still occupied, including ours. Matira matibay... errr... makapal mukha! =)

sleepless... but not in seattle

I faced the world this morning with a ngarag beauty as I spent the night in my DL patiently overseeing while the PC that I use as a server is being reformat. We started at 11PM after DL operating hours, and didn't know we'll come across a lot of glitches and finally ended the work by 8AM today ='( But I don't have any reklamo, except for the fact that I wasn't able to get some sleep, kasi the labor naman is libre =) But I swear, it really reached the point where I regretted that I had it reformatted pa. Kasi we were doing some shortcuts for reformatting which failed... and muntik na mawala lahat ng files ko... my photos and DigiScraps which I don't have a back-up copy yet (tigas kasi ng ulo! tamad mag back-up!). I am really thankful that all my files are still intact though we spent long hours in finishing the task. And sobrang thankful to the one who helped me! *bighug*

Later this evening, I went around Cyberzone because I needed to buy a new keyboard and AVR. I bought the AVR but I have to check in SM Fairview na lang for the keyboard. The OC in me didn't want to purchase a different model kasi, hehe. So I'll try tom if may stock available sa SMF. After that, I met up with Kuks and we went around the Dept Store naman to canvass prices for a bed. Hay super duper mahal!!! I think P10K ung pinakamura. Hindi kaya ng budget ni Mrs =)Maybe I will have to settle with the one I saw in TK the other day, mas pasok sa budget =) We went around pa to check the other furnitures. Hmmn... sarap ng feeling na ganung level na yung kina-canvass mo, hehe.

I was craving for a Wendy's side salad but Kuks wanted to eat at Mongkok Dimsun and Noodles, so he won. After all, I'm not in the mood to eat burgers anyway, yung salad lang talaga gusto ko. While eating, we were discussing about what to do with my phone. He wanted me to sell my N6680 so I can buy a phone with a dual sim feature so I won't have to bring 2 phones with me all the time. Parang sales man, he was trying to convince me to try the MyPhone T22 he saw in Rob Mall. I am really hesitant because I've been using Nokia all my cellphone life. I used Motorola L6 (as a replacement phone for the N1100 I've been using) for about 2 months for my SUN sim, which I gave up last week (we are already selling it) as I do a test run on this N99i (china phone) which I thought is a dual sim phone. Actually dual sim sya but only 1 line is active at a time which defeats the purpose of being a dual sim, hehe. So right now, I am using my N6680 and the N99i which are both bulky. Kaya na-frustrate ako and Kuks is telling me to return it and buy the T22 instead. Or else, jackpot ang makaka-holdap sa akin *wink*

Hmmn... I can't really decide as of now kasi I'm having a hard time in letting go din of my N6680. It's been with me for almost 3 years I think. Sobrang love ko yung phone ko! ='( Kaya lang Rellie already asked his cousin to look for a buyer and believe it or not meron na, so I really have to decide soon... Booo...

I searched the net as soon as I got home to check the features of T22. Mukha naman siyang okay =) Konting pilit pa and I'd give in na, hahaha! Look... tapos convince nyo din ako, hehe.
